About Us

Beata lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband Jacek and son Mark. They spend a lot of time each year camping in Ontario. Despite its long winters, Ontario is a real camper's paradise with numerous parks and beautiful nature.

Beata's life-long love for camping started when she went camping with her parents as a little girl in Poland. She loved the freedom and the sense of wonder and adventure that camping brings to kids of all ages.

Later, her husband Jacek re-introduced her to camping (and canoeing) in Canada. Toghether they visited all the major Provincial Parks in Ontario, with Pinery being their favourite.

Later, when their son Mark was born, they purchased a trailer and became seasonal campers at Red Bay on the shores of Lake Huron. Now Mark can enjoy the outdoors all summer long.  For them camping became the best way to spend time together as a family.

Beata's other interests include green living, raw foods, natural medicine and self-growth.
