 Why RVing is Cool:

Camping in an RV offers many more activity options vs. staying in a hotel or worse, just staying home. When you travel in an RV, the list of destinations is endless as is the list of possible activities upon arrival.

You’ve Had Enough of Tent Camping: What’s Next?

Tent camping is not for the frail. Hey, it’s a great way to get started if you are on a shoestring budget. Some folks continue to camp in tents their entire camping life, and they love it. I gave up tent camping as soon as I could afford something with a few more creature comforts.

Toys for Big Boys: RVs, Motor-homes, ATVs, Jet Skis, etc.

For big boys, the ideal camping trip toy is a 5O FT Motor-home pulling a 48FT enclosed car hauler. Inside the car hauler would be 4 ATVs, 2 Harley Davidson’s, and a golf cart. Behind the car hauler would follow a Black Hummer (yes, it’s got to be black or yellow), a 40FT yacht, a fishing boat, 2 jet skis, and a BBQ big enough to cook a whole hog.

These hidden jewels somehow are the best kept camping secrets. How do you find such a place? How can you be sure you don’t end up at the other end of the spectrum and end up camping amongst a cult in some town that barely made the map? Spooooooky!!!!!!!!

How to Make Camping Appealing to Teenagers

Now, they are adolescent teens and the rules have changed. You still want your weekend getaway, but the kids are all wrapped up in their own teenage world. How can you convince them to come along and leave their world behind?

Convincing Your Spouse to go Camping!!!
If you grew up camping but your spouse did not, you may have an issue to resolve. I was somewhat in this situation. I’m a lifelong camper, yet my wife grew up in a family of non-campers. I guess you could call it a mixed marriage: campers vs. non-campers.

You’re ready to hit the road, find a quite place to camp, break out the barbeque and chairs, and spark up the campfire.
