Silent Lake

Greetings to All,

I just booked our annual camping trip at Silent Lake and hardly can wait to leave the city behind!  

We've been going there for the last 8 years with the kids. They are 3, 5, 12, 15, and they all love to get into a canoe and go fishing. They all love to play in the water, they all love to sit by the fire and talk about life.

They always remember Alice, our dog, who used to come with us, but passed away 6 years ago. They talk about summers before the younger ones, they recall past events on and off the campground. These trips are a much appreciated opportunity to reconnect with each other and with the past.    

It is nice to run into a site which is dedicated to family camping, the best possible vacation ever! Smile

You described it so nicely, I can really feel it, how  the family reconnects and remembers the past and plans for the future while sitting by the fire. It has been my experience as well.
