Back to School

So now that we have the first week of school behind us, it is also the time to reminiscent about our summer vacations and camping trips.

How was your summer? Were your kids happy to go camping? Are they happy to go back to school?

Me and my son Mark were lucky to spent entire two months in our trailer. I must say I am a little relived to be back to civilization, but for Mark it is also a very stressful time.

New school and new friends are very exciting, but  I am sure he is still looking back at a carefree summer, when he roamed the campground on his bike and felt like the king of the hill. Now he is still looking forward to a weekend camping, as are many of you.

Labour Day does end camping season for many families, but many more still brave the cooler weather and enjoy fall colours from their tents and trailers.

Tomorrow is a deadline for our kid’s contest for the best summer story. My son’s short story can be read on the Kid’s Forum.
