Camping with Guns?
As of February 22,2010 a National Park Service regulation prohibiting use of firearms in US national parks became obsolete. Now it is up to individual states to decide what is permitted.
Of course this issue creates a lot of controversy and mixed feelings. Some say that guns in national parks is a recipe for disaster. People may become more careless and unnecessairly shoot animals that were provoked or scared. Others argue that they will feel much safer in bear country.
What do you think?
Personally I would rather not come accross a mad or drunk camper with a gun in his hand.
