Lanie, New American Girl Doll

As of January 1, 2010, American Girl debuts its new doll, Lanie Holland. 10-year old Lanie is a blond, hazel-eyed doll who loves the outdoors. She comes with a collection of clothing and accessories, as well as two books by Jane Kurtz.

American Girl desined Lanie in partnership with Natonal Wildlife Federation to encourage girls and families to spend more time outdoors. Lanie demonstrates how  simple activities like gardening, bird-watching and backyard camping have the power to reconnect us with nature.
