This is a logical conclusion, since we can imagine how much pollution can be crated by the process of shipping to retail stores and then our drivng to the mall.

So what can you do to lessen environmental impact of your buying habits? First of all you can just buy less. This video "Story of Stuff" shows how consumerism creates pollution and garbage. We buy to throw away.

But if you really need to buy something (as we all do at some point), perhaps you should consider shopping on line instead of drivng to the mall.
